Refund policy

Please verify all order details carefully before submitting your order. Once an order is placed, requests to change or cancel the order before shipment may be sent to support@bibliotheca.co. If an unwanted or incorrect order is processed and shipped before a change or cancellation is requested by the customer, a refund and/or replacement to the buyer will be contingent upon the return of the shipped item(s) to the seller.

Defective or Damaged Items

Defective or damaged items will be replaced promptly and free of shipping costs.

 

Return and Exchange Policy (In Summary)

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. We encourage customers to read the content on our website—as well as independent reviews and articles—before making a purchase. If you are not satisfied with our products for any reason, you may return the item(s) for a refund to your original method of payment with the following conditions:

  1. Shipping charges are non-refundable and return shipping charges are the buyer’s responsibility.
  2. All returns are subject to a restocking fee equal to 10% of the original purchase amount. (We may waive this fee if items are returned in like-new condition.)
  3. Product(s) must be returned with no signs of use (in like-new condition) with all original packaging intact, including shrink wrap, inserts, and accessories. If shrink wrap has been removed, an additional 10% restocking fee will be added to the standard 10% restocking fee. If a returned item shows signs of use, is missing components, is not in like-new condition, or is damaged due to inadequate return packaging, no refund will be granted.
  4. Returns must be postmarked within 30 days of the original delivery date.
  5. If you refuse delivery of your order, your original shipping charges will not be refunded and return shipping charges will be deducted at cost.
  6. If your order had a free shipping promotion applied at time of purchase, the actual cost of shipping will be deducted from any refund due.

Returns

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since the original delivery date, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and shrink wrap.

Additional non-returnable items:
Downloadable software and electronic products

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. Refunds cannot be offered for items sent back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only a partial refund, or no refund, is granted (if applicable).

  • Items with obvious signs of use
  • Any item not in its original condition and/or is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item that is posted for return shipping more than 30 days after delivery

 

 

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received, it will be inspected within 14 days.

If your refund is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment or via PayPal within 14 business days of the refund approval.

 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you have received an email from us confirming your refund but haven’t received the refund in your account yet, check the account again the next business day. If you’ve done this and have still not received your refund, please contact us at support@bibliotheca.co.

 

Exchanges (if applicable)

We gladly replace items if they are defective or arrive damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send an email to support@bibliotheca.co, and we will send you a return label and assist you with the details of the exchange.

 

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he or she will find out about your return.

 

Shipping

To return your product, email support@bibliotheca.co.

Unless the item in your order is defective or damaged, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

 

Preorder Return & Refund Policies

Before preorder has been shipped to the customer:

Preorders are eligible for a full refund, no questions asked, until the order is packed and shipped.

After preorder has been shipped to the customer:

If any items in the order are damaged or defective upon arrival to the customer, we will promptly replace those items free of charge or issue a full refund upon their return. A prepaid return label will be supplied for returning the damaged or defective items.

For preorders canceled for any reason (other than damage or defect) after the items in the order have been shipped, the cost of return shipping plus a 5% restocking fee will be deducted from the full refund amount, provided the package is unopened when it arrives at our warehouse.

If the package has been opened, but the items remain sealed in their factory packaging with no missing components, the cost of return shipping plus a 10% restocking fee will be deducted from the full refund amount.

If the items have been fully or partially removed from their factory packaging but are received at our warehouse in perfect, sellable condition, with no missing components, the cost of return shipping plus a 20% restocking-&-repackaging fee will be deducted from the full refund amount.

If the items have been fully or partially removed from their factory packaging and are received at our warehouse in less-than-perfect and/or used condition, and/or are missing components, a refund amount will be determined by us upon review of the items. If no items are deemed suitable to be resold as “new,” no refund will be issued.

 

We’re a small, mom-and-pop operation with ever-tight margins. Our return policies and restocking fees reflect the attentive, involved work that goes into our shipping and warehousing.
